Yet another wonderful week at Dolphin Cottage. Sun, sea, marvelous views. Thank you Mark, Karen and Ollie for the easter eggs, milk, flowers and cream tea supplies. We have done lots of cliff walking, and a visit to Pencarrow House is a must with a wonderful drive to the House at this time of year. . . 21st – 28th April, 2017.
What a wonderful few days!! Brilliant weather, cosy cottage and lovely neighbours. What more could you ask for? . . . we visited Looe (what a beautiful place). . . Talland Bay was sheltered and sea calm so we spent time kayaking and even caught a few mackerel . . . the cottage is perfect, very cosy and welcoming and also very convenient as it is only a short walk (though down/up hill) to the beach . . . rock pools are magnificent because you find all sorts of marine wildlife even close to the shore . . . thanks for a wonderful time . . . making us feel so welcome . . . Talland Bay is wonderful – no need to go anywhere, just rest up here listening to waves, trees and owls. 28. 8.15 – 1.9.15

We’ve had a perfect week in Cornwall. We were very lucky and had beautiful sunshine almost every day . . . stunning beach at Polkerris accompanied by cider in the sun at the Rashleigh Inn. All of this was surrounded by the comfy cosy Dolphin Çottage. Thank you Mark and Karen for another idyllic stay. 10th – 17th February 2016.

We are already fans of Talland Bay from previous visits and now we are Dolphin Cottage fans too. It was perfect for four adults, plenty or room and every conceivable item you could ever need in the kitchen! . . .
It is so homely and comfy, would like to stay here permanently! . .
We found the cottage welcoming and very comfortable. We especially liked the sunny garden room and patio area, and of course the lovely views. It was a privilege to watch the baby swallow fledge on Sunday morning – hope they keep coming back . . .
The best times are first thing in the morning and last thing at night down by the beach. The rawness and beauty is outstanding here . . .

All our expectations concerning walks on the coastal path and visits to gardens and parks were completely fulfilled and exceeded! . . .

Your cottage is really cosy and lovely, we had wonderful dreams, slept like on clouds. We had nice trips to Fowey and Looe by feet and to Truro and Falmouth by car. Wonderful parts of Cornwall. . . . 25th February – 2nd March 2017 Wonderful place – So quiet , peaceful and beautiful. Cottage great and perfect for the two of us. We will come back! Thank you for a really nice stay in Porthallow Lodge. We really enjoyed the cosy house in the quiet but convenient location. We were lucky enough to enjoy some mid-winter sun for our walk to Polperro, Looe, and Kilminorth Wood. On the very rainy day during our visit, the lodge kept us warm, dry and very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again sometime in the future. 7th – 10 th January 2016

A lovely visit in our first trip to Cornwall with our baby. He felt as much at home as we did. Love the welcome touches . . the herbs which livened up our dinner . . . lovely spot to explore the coastal paths and visit Polperro and Looe. We hope to visit again soon. 15th - 19th November 2015

Arriving late after a ten hour journey the Lodge was just what we hoped for – so cosy and comfortable. The Lodge was well equipped which made our stay most enjoyable. The flowers and herbs were beautiful. . . the bed is so comfortable – a joy to sleep in. We were so lucky with the weather . We enjoyed the walks along the coastal path to Looe and Polperro. Also visited Talland Church, really lovely and peaceful. Many thanks to Mark and Karen and Polly and Ian for making our stay unforgettable and wonderful. We will be back next year.
